Eviction Prevention
Due to an overwhelming number of requests for eviction prevention assistance, the City of Norfolk has temporarily suspended the submission of online referrals. Please check back frequently to see if submissions have resumed.
In the meantime, you are encouraged to seek assistance from the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Rent Relief Program (RRP). Please click here to determine eligibility and apply online. If you need assistance with applying, call the RRP Support Center at (703) 962-1884 for assistance, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM.
Norfolk Eviction Prevention Center
The Norfolk Eviction Prevention Center is administrated by the Department of Neighborhood Services and serves to connect Norfolk residents facing eviction with funding and resources to mitigate immediate relief needs and stabilize households to reduce the risk in the long term.
