Waves of Care Community Fair

111 W. Ocean View Ave. The Norfolk Prevention Coalition, Norfolk Community Services Board, Norfolk Youth Council and Norfolk Public Library are partnering with City and community organizations to host the inaugural Waves of Care Community Fair on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mary D. Pretlow Anchor Branch Library (111 W. Ocean View Ave.).

The Waves of Care Community Fair brings together local service providers, nonprofits and community partners to offer on-site resources, referrals and support to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness, or facing challenges.

Services and resources include housing and health care assistance, employment assistance, food access and nutritional support, mental health and wellness, financial assistance, personal care and more. The goal is to provide a welcoming and dignified environment in which guests can access vital services.

Event is free, open to all and suitable for all ages.
