Norfolk's Department of Human Services realizes that many residents struggle to access benefits programs, assistance and support services due to a lack of transportation.

To address that need, Norfolk Department of Human Services is bringing that much-needed access right in neighborhoods with the Community Engagement Street Team every week.

Resources include:

  • Benefits applications
  • Tangible resources (food, water, personal care items, etc.)
  • Referrals for service
